I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book. This is a story of three people Lori, Clay and Spencer. They work together, enjoy each other’s company and then realize their love extends to others, including a young, homeless boy, Paul. Lori, a social worker, gets hired to run a home that Clay built to house homeless, abused children. Clay is hiding his past and hopes through this home, he can finally put his past behind him. Spence is a cop, tired of the damage being a cop does to one’s life. Clay asks Spencer to join his company as head of security for all of Clay’s companies. There’s definitely a spark between Clay and Spencer. If you add Lori to the group, you get three people with hearts of gold realizing that their lives were always meant to be together. A very enjoyable story, with romance and sex between three loving, big hearted adults, who find that they can not only help homeless children, they can help and love each other.
This book was different from other menage books that I've read, and especially those from Maxene Novak, in that we don't start out the story with an established couple adding a third. Instead, this book starts out with Clay (the billionaire hotel magnate) hiring two new employees - Lorie and Spencer. Lorie is a social worker who will be taking over management of a home for children in need from Social Services that Clay has built and has devoted significant resources to. Spencer is a detective with the local police force who has accepted the position as head of security for all of Clay's businesses.
The attraction between the three is intense and immediate. I would have liked to have seen more soul searching with both Lorie and Spencer when they first felt this since Spence had never before considered himself to be bi and Lorie had never felt so attracted to anyone, let alone two men at the same time who clearly felt more than friendship for one another. There was no indication that either had ever even considered being in a polyamorous relationship before, but they never seemed to have any concerns about it - which just doesn't seem to be a normal reaction.
Even without that, I enjoyed reading about each of these three and how they fit together to become a stronger whole.

It was a good easy read. Included man and women in hot sex plus man and man in equally as a hot.
Well written. I don't like story line because I don't like that type of situation that would scare me.
